Team Effectiveness

We help teams gain awareness of interpersonal dynamics that are stalling productivity. And senior leaders and executives gain clarity on how to break out of downward cycles in their work environments so they can make effective decisions and bring their teams' performance back into alignment. We do this by providing teams and their managers with new tools and processes to help:

  • Ensure clarity around goals and roles

  • Foster understanding around varying perspectives and communications style within the team

  • Provide a common language with which to communicate and articulate team issues

  • Use a team diagnostic survey to assess the team’s performance and perceptions

  • Increase trust and by doing so increase efficiency and productivity


Our Process

While each Team Effectiveness program is specially designed to meet the unique goals and challenges of each client, a typical Team Effectiveness engagement includes:

Team Assessment: Individual team member interviews are conducted using a proven assessment tool like Birkman or Hogan, followed by a one-on-one debrief of their results.

Team Survey: An in-depth Team Effectiveness survey is used to gauge team satisfaction and productivity as well as to provide understanding and initiate conversation about trust levels, approach to conflict, willingness to collaborate and alignment on the company's mission, vision, values, high-level strategy and goals.

Team Workshop: Inputs are reviewed in a workshop where the team’s overall perspectives and individual contributions are identified, enabling the group to address conflict, manage change or develop new strategies and approaches to the existing challenges – all with the goal of aligning the team by instilling a deep and uniting sense of purpose.

Follow-up Coaching: Ongoing guidance and communication with the team leader and key members ensures that goals are realized.
